Try responding some of these posts! The citizen's of the city are trying to communicate with you. And I don't see you guys trying. I'm very supporting of law enforcement but I must say the more I come of know of Bellevue PD the less confidence I have in them.
This law enforcement agency gets it and should be a model for all the other agencies that have lost sight of what it means to do police work. Leadership by example. Listen to your people. Provide the tools and training and look out for their welfare. Commitment to your chosen profession of Law Enforcement.
Nice job today parking BPD officers during Seafair and ticketing every car in sight instead of proactively controlling parking and traffic during the Blue Angels. I guess since your Police Chief is under investigation you can act worse than Federal Way police department.
last night my buddy held a car meet and it had an amazing turn out, more cars then I could have ever expected to come. It was awesome to see so many different kinds of people and there cars they had built all come together in one place. We do these meets so we can enjoy each other's cars, see old friends, talk for hours about cars with other people that are in cars too and get inspired to build something better. I'm sure you can imagine how frustrating it is to have something... like that shut down pretty early on, we only had about 2 hours. I understand that we get associated with other aspects of the modified car world but we are simply just parking are cars and walking around a garage at night when it is getting minimum use. We aren't exactly the most dangerous people is what I'm trying to say, so I'm just wondering why we got kicked out of a parking garage and then a few of my friends got kicked out of our own high school parking lot.
I moved to Bellevue very recently from North Seattle. I applied for a new driving license to update my current address on it. Unfortunately, someone took the new updated license from my mailbox and used it for different purposes, including my credit card transactions for almost $600. I got informed by credit card company about few unauthorized transactions were made by the person. I was unaware of the entire situation until police officers knocked at my door. I was not home... by then so they had talked my landlords 93years old dad and he barely says NNiha which means Hey. However, the officers got the cell number of my landlord Michal (American Name) Yixiong and called him and from where they ve got my phone number and I got contacted by police yesterday. I went to the Clyde Hill police station and filed a report today. Eventually, Police arrested two guys with my driving license. They rented a car under my name and were headed to another state.This group of guys was also involved in various previous activities. I am very thankful to police department of Bellevue particularly officer Dawn Hanson to help me out during the entire messed up situation. God bless you all and stay safe
