I graduated Nathan Hale in '12 and every year my family and I come back for the plant sale. It's nice seeing new students every year and all the plants they care for, hopefully some of them will grow their own gardens too.
I am so glad to see this important program in place and will be shopping the sale this week.
As a Nathan Hale alum, class of '74, I'm so proud to see this program is still going strong. My class built the greenhouse and started the horticulture program. It was my favorite class. :-)
Learning about soil and what it takes to grow fresh, healthy food, and how very good it tastes is so important. It takes a lot of teacher effort, but it is just so worth it. Thanks for taking this on!
